Obituary for Norma Jean Weimer Osborne Campbell

Norma Jean Osborne Weimer Campbell died peacefully on November 23, 2018 in Lexington, Kentucky after a long battle with cancer. Norma was born on June 2, 1943 in Newark, Ohio exactly one year after the birth of her beloved brother Rod. She was born to Frances Fairall Osborne Hill and Stanley Osborne. Norma graduated from Newark High School and married Tom Weimer. They had two daughters, Kimberly White-Zeigler and Terri Weimer, both of Lexington. Norma has two grandchildren, Spenser White of Silverdale, Washington, and Zachary Carter of Columbia, South Carolina. She recently became a great grandmother to Lila Rose Moore of Silverdale, Washington.
Norma married Duane Campbell of Ripley, Ohio in 1984. Duane’s sons Ray (Barbara) and David, along with their wives and children, Sara (Campbell) Beasley of Edwardsville, Illinois and Baylie (Campbell) McBride of Wesley Chapel, Florida and her children Jackson and Elijah, became Norma’s children and grandchildren. Norma was loved by many people because she had a kind, caring and loving heart. She was a dear friend who will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Brell Funeral Home in Maysville, Kentucky on Thursday, November 29 from 5-7 p.m. Norma will be laid to rest at Newark Memorial Gardens in Newark, Ohio following a service on Friday, November 30 at 1 p.m. She will rest eternally beside her brother. The family requests donations be made in Norma’s name to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504 in lieu of flowers as they provided exceptional care at the end of her journey.
