Obituary for Albert King Bisotti

Maysville - Albert King Bisotti, born in Liggett Kentucky, May, 16th, 1934 passed at his home on February 1st, 2020, at 1203 Bisotti Drive at the age of 85, with his wife Sue and daughter Shannon at his side.
He was raised in the coal-mining town of Liggett, where he attended school, later to join the Army where he was stationed in Greenland and after other tours was Honorably discharged. After leaving the army he joined his family in Wisconsin as a butcher, later working in the automobile industry, before moving to Maysville in the 60’s and working for Jerry’s Restaurant which he and his brothers bought and later became Bisotti’s Restaurant, a long time favorite of the area until it closed. After the closing of the restaurant, he went to work for Comprehend, until he retired. He mentored many a young man during his time coaching football at the Tom Browning Boy’s and Girls Club, and was an avid University of Kentucky fan.
Albert met the love of his life, Sue Chitwood, and later married her on November 9th, 2000. He is survived by Sue, daughter Shannon Sell, Grandchildren Sydney Kampmier, and Alec Glazer of Winnebago, Illinois, Brothers Deno Bisotti, Virgil (Nowanna) Bisotti, Sisters Della Bisotti all of Maysville, and sister Catherine (Randall) Evitts, of Racine Wisconsin, sister-in-law Maxine Bisotti, and numerous nieces, and nephews whom Albert loved dearly. Sue remembers fondly the love he had for her, his grandchildren and all his family and looked forward every year to their reunion. There was a special place in Albert’s heart for his friends Jeff Hinson and Karen McGlone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maggie Scalvini Bisotti, sisters; Marie Bisotti, Retha (John) Calchera, Brothers Louis, Geno (Maxine), Frank (Pam), John (Blanch), Basilio (Dorothy), Valentino, Bisotti.
Visitation will be held at Saint Patrick’s Church Saturday, February the 8th beginning at 11: A.M. with Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Pallbearers are, Frank Bisotti, Michael Cooper, Richard Calchera, Jeff Hinson, Jordan Cooper, Drew Cooper, Honorary Pallbearers are Alec Glaser, Mark Calchera, Christopher Temple, and Jamie Bisotti.
Funeral arrangements are through Brell and Son Funeral Home.
